Human rights

1. What are human rights?
Are the basic laws that relate merely because of his human condition, to ensure a decent life for the people
2. When did human rights start?
On December 10th of 1948 the general assembly of United Nations proclaimed the declaration of human rights. And in 1976 became international law.
3. Why were they created?
Human rights were created because certain countries weren’t respect at them citizens. And these laws are used as a weapon whit the countries that mistreat them citizens.
4. How many human rights are there?
It is a document of thirty articles
5. Which human right were you not familiar with?
All of the Human rights are very important because them defend the dignity of the people in all the world. I think that some of the rights are more important than others but all are important and there aren’t any human rights that aren’t important.
6. Choose one human right and discuss:
- Watch the video of your human right
- Is it fully respected in your country today? Justify with news, comments, studies on the subject (cite the links of your information sources)
- Do you know if it has been respected in the past? Why or why not?
-Where in the world is this right not complied with?
Article 19: the freedom of speech. Is a very important because I think that all the people has the right of express her opinion to other people. This right that now in my county is respected fortunately. http://www.coe.int/t/dghl/standardsetting/media/confantiterrorism/Spain_PTENORIO_dec.pdf
But in the past there isn’t this right in Spain, because in time of the dictatorship if you didn’t think like the people who commanded you were mistreat.
This right isn’t accept at all the world because in China there isn’t respect, for example last month Liu Xiaobo won the Nobel peace prize and the China’s government was censored he.

7. Are Humans rights relevant in the world today?  why?
Yes human rights are very relevant nowadays because if there weren’t this rights more of the countries wouldn’t respect at people and ours rights would be adversely affected.
