On march 11th 2011 was a tsunami in the Eastern coast of Japan. It was very destructive because in a few hours hundreds of people died and on the following days more people were dying because of lack of enough food or drinking water. But that wasn't the only problem, the biggest trouble is the nuclear power station, because it had been damaged when the tsunami happened and its refrigeration system didn't work. This way the nucleus of the reactor had risen its temperature and Japan's government is afraid of the possibility of an explosion in the nuclear plant in Fukushima. If the reactor exploded Japan would reach a very dangerous pollution.
A few days ago all the countries all over the world began to take huge precautions in their nuclear power stations.
I wonder if the nuclear power is safe. Because if there is an earthquake here like in Japan, would our nuclear plants be safe? Because if we must suffer the same in Japan I think it would be better to turn off the nuclear power stations.
