Owning pets

There are people who think that home-owned pets are very unhappy which is an injustice for them, and there are perople who think that those pets are in better cared for than the others and they are happier if they are in good conditions.
If a pet is loved by its owner it will lived better than the other animals because it has food when it needs it, not only when it can catch it. It can live in a house with a central heating and its human family takes care of it.
I think having a pet at home is good because people may learn to look after somebody who isn't herself or himself. And animals can be in better conditions than outside nature or along the streets.
